About TFT Coach
TFT Coach is a free tool to get better at Teamfight Tactics. It doesn't just tell you what to play: it explains why, supports you during the game with what you enter and helps you learn from every game afterwards.
What you can do
- Comps tier list with average placement, top 4 and each carry's build in high elo.
- In-game coach: enter your board and components and it tells you which comps fit, which items to build and which items don't suit each champion.
- My matches: a review of your latest ranked games against high elo.
- Pages for champions, items and traits, and guides to understand every decision.
Where the data comes from
Sources
- Official Riot Games API (TFT Match, TFT League, Account): ranked matches from Platinum-to-Challenger players on the EUW, KR and NA servers. Currently: 77232 matches from the current patch.
- CommunityDragon (communitydragon.org): set data (champions, traits, items and their stats) and icons, extracted from the game files by the community.
How they are calculated
- Comps are grouped by carry (the unit with the most offensive items) and main trait, merging those that share units.
- The tier is relative: S = top 15% by smoothed average placement (comps with few games are pulled towards 4.5). It’s the final board, so comps with expensive carries are slightly favored.
- The layout is a guideline: the API doesn’t provide positions, so it’s calculated by role (range, health and items).
- The Riot API doesn’t include the augments from matches, so no augment stats are shown.
What this website doesn’t do
It doesn’t read your game or connect to the game client. In-game mode only uses what you enter, and comps come from pre-game stats.
